Ujjivan SFB announces ₹5,000 additional loan for eligible Microloan customers to encourage Covid vaccination

Mumbai, Nov 22: Ujjivan SFB, in an effort to create awareness and also encourage complete adherence towards
anti-Covid vaccination amongst the Micro-banking customer fraternity, today announced ₹5,000 additional loan
eligibility for the Microbanking Group Loan customers, who are vaccinated partly or fully. 

Ujjivan SFB aims to create awareness among its Microloan customers and ensure that they are fully protected
against the pandemic. 

The unique additional microloan facility can be availed by the Microloan customers of the bank until March 31,
2022. Customers who are eligible for a new repeat loan & those qualifying Credit Bureau score would be eligible for
this additional loan facility.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Martin Pampilly, Officer on Special Duty said: “The additional microloan initiative is to encourage our Group Loan customers to get vaccinated – We anticipate the vaccinated percentage to be a little above 80% - either partially or fully, and hope to achieve much higher awareness levels and hence vaccination level, with this initiative. Weanticipate 4 lakh+ customers to avail this benefit"
