Culture of Care
From structured work hours and counselling services to enhanced insurance, cashless medical claims, and many more things, we ensure our employees feel valued and protected.

Ujjivan SFB’s initiative provides crisis support like floods, house damage, or bereavement and education aid, funded by employee contributions and 1% of profits, with 80G tax benefits. UWT sponsors 8 employees' children’s education with ₹3.5L annually.

Ujjivan SFB enforces a 7 PM cut-off for women employees and permission-based work beyond 8 PM. The mandatory leave policy includes:
- Sensitive Roles: Surprise leave with a 100% compliance rate.
- Critical Roles: Minimum 7-day leave taken by 33% of employees (out of ~3800).
- Other Roles: Encouraged to take 10 days off (continuous/tranches) for better balance

Employees and up to six family members (1+6) can access confidential support via a dedicated helpline, with no records maintained.

Financial support for an employee's family in case of death, covering employees up to 60 years of age.

Covers all employees, with enhanced coverage for women's health, child/parental care, dental, and IVF treatments. Employees can opt for top-up plans (₹1L–₹12L). Notable improvements:
- Maternity Benefits: ₹75K–₹80K (₹50K normal, ₹75K C-section; up to ₹1.25L with top-up).
- Cataract Surgery: Parental limit increased to ₹30K.
- Congenital Diseases: Coverage doubled to ₹5K.
- Term Life Insurance: Minimum sum insured raised to ₹15L.
- Group Term Life (GTL) Insurance: Increased from ₹10L to ₹15L.
- Personal Accident Coverage: Now includes OPD reimbursement.
- Cashless Payments: A partnership with United India Insurance expands cashless care to 15,000+ hospitals, aiming for a 60% claim ratio by FY 2025.

PF and Gratuity ensure financial security, with Gratuity at 15 days’ salary per service year. In FY 2024, USFB allocated ₹163.98M for Gratuity and ₹212.97M for Leave Encashment.

- ESOPs : Offered to 8,000+ employees annually based on individual and company performance.
- Salary Advance : Interest-free financial support.
- Staff Loans : Home Loan (4.99%), Personal Loan (no processing fee/closure charges), Vehicle Loan (2W-12%, 4W-5%).
- Car Lease Program : Saves 30%+ in taxes; 60+ employees availed of it within 3 quarters.
- Crèche Facility : Childcare support.
- School Benefits : Transport, food, and extracurricular fee exemptions via VIBGYOR School association.
