Trust Each Other
To Grow Together
Trust is not a sign of weakness; it is an act of courage.
It is a reflection of our belief in the inherent goodness of humanity.
It is a recognition that , despite our imperfections, we can forge connections that transcend faith and belief.
When we choose to trust, we build a positive, productive relationship.
When we choose to trust we choose to grow together.
That's how we unlock the transfromative power that lies within each and every one of us.

As an HR professional, I am entrusted with various responsibilities related to employees career opportunities, compensation, and personal growth. I feel a deep sense of responsibility when it comes to retaining talent and providing them with assurances regarding their career growth and future opportunities at Ujjivan. It brings me great pride when an employee receives an opportunity and expresses gratitude towards me for their retention. This accomplishment is a result of their trust in me and my confidence in the organization, leading to personal and professional growth for both the employee and myself. Trusting the process makes progress easier, and I am delighted to be a part of that journey.

As they say, "Trust is the highest form of motivation that brings out the very best in people." Here is my story of progress, woven with the threads of trust and belief in an experienced and capable business leader. On 11th April 1998, a young, inexperienced girl walked into an Australian Multinational Corporation for a job interview. Coming from a middle-class household, she had to start earning and sacrifice the carefree days of her first year in college. It was her first time entering a corporate office, unaware of corporate etiquette and status quo. During the interview, she had a cold and unconvincing interaction with the Zonal Business Manager of a large company dealing in paging services. When asked about paging, telephone communication, and related topics, the girl admitted her ignorance but expressed high hopes of learning and grasping whatever was necessary to perform the assigned job. The Business Manager placed great trust and faith in those words and offered her an internship. Within a span of six months, the girl's performance exceeded expectations, leading to her being promoted and included on the payroll. Despite the departure of the Business Manager, she continued to raise the bar of her performance year after year, achieving success in each role.

"Trust is always stronger than belief." In this world, the person I trust the most is the one who appears when I look in the mirror—myself. The way of life is far from tranquil. Looking back, I realize I have accomplished numerous milestones that would have been impossible if I hadn't trusted myself. I may not have any gems or jewels to represent my achievements, but I have gained self-confidence and self-love, propelling me to hasten myself to the next level. I have experienced days of rain and sun, but one thing that has always remained constant with me is my trust. When days are tough, I seize the chance to reshape myself into the finest version possible. Being your own source of sunshine and rainbow when the situation becomes worse than you imagined is the best thing you can do if you have faith in yourself, and the outcome will be the best version of you. My path is not limited as long as my self-trust remains constant.

From the moment I brought home ‘Enzo’ a rescue dog, I could see the fear in its eyes. It barked relentlessly, distrust etched into every bark. Even when I offered food, it remained wary, keeping its distance. But I refused to give up. Days turned into weeks, and I persisted. Sitting patiently beside the dog, speaking in soothing tones, I aimed to break down the walls surrounding its wounded heart. Slowly, the barks softened, replaced by cautious curiosity. In a tender moment, Enzo nuzzled my hand, a small act of trust. With time, that trust grew, paving the way for progress. Enzo’s body filled out, its eyes sparkled with newfound life. It embraced meals with enthusiasm, shedding the fear of scarcity. Trust transformed its very being. Reflecting on our remarkable journey, The dog's transformation paralleled my own growth, as I learned to believe in the resilience of the human-animal connection.

Well, I can't say much about my achievements, but I never thought I would work as a banker and earn money for myself and my family. I always do everything for them and strive to be independent. I believe this is my achievement because it's important for girls to rely on themselves. By the way, no one had inspired me before. However, I have always observed the situation of my family, and perhaps that is what inspired me to be where I am today. Yes, my parents never discouraged me from working, so they deserve credit as well. The most significant person who came into my life quite late but inspired me the most is both my friend and guide. This person has always supported my progress. Whenever I'm confused, they explain things to me and provide their unwavering support. Having a good friend in life is crucial, and even though I'm late to realize it, I deeply cherish my friend. Whenever I face any confusion, my friend is the first person I turn to because I know no one understands me better than them. So, I have achieved something significant, thanks to the immense support from my friend.

In the face of life's uncertainties, trust has the power to inspire us and propel us forward. It has the ability to transform relationships, fuel personal growth, and catalyse remarkable progress. Several years ago, I found myself at a professional crossroads. Doubt and uncertainty clouded my mind as I stood on the precipice of a daring career change. I yearned for progress and fulfilment but hesitated to take the leap into the unknown. It was during this pivotal moment an individual’s unwavering trust in me ignited a spark of courage within. Sugirtha, a mentor, a friend and my lovely wife, recognized my potential long before I fully believed in myself. She had witnessed my dedication, hard work, and unwavering passion for growth and invested her time, knowledge, and resources into nurturing my development & providing guidance. Her belief in my abilities created a strong foundation of trust that propelled me forward, even during the most challenging times. Inspired by Sugirtha's unwavering support and belief in me made me believe in myself and became the driving force behind my progress

Trust is a word that must be earned. In December 2013, I began my career as a Business Development Executive (BDE) at a reputed bank. Back then, I had no knowledge of banking or sales. My boss guided me on whom to meet, how to talk, what to pitch, and how to pitch. He provided leads for me to work on and trained me on the job. After six months, I started performing well and started earning double my salary through incentives. It was not just my dedication and time invested, but the trust placed in me by those who believed in my abilities that I became a successful banker. My boss felt proud when customers appreciated my excellent service and always saw me smile, even at the difficult times. Over the next five years, I received three promotions and won various Internal contests. People began referring to me as the "life insurance queen." I built a good reputation in the Ranchi market. In 2018, my boss once again put his trust in me and recommended me for the Branch Manager position. His belief and trust in me never wavered. Under my leadership, the branch's sales doubled in just six months, transforming my life in the banking industry. Trust and faith have the power to change a person's life, and my first boss Raj Kiran sir, has been instrumental in my career growth.
