In line with our broader objective of advancing financial inclusion, Ujjivan’s Gold Loan segment continues to serve as a catalyst, delivering accessible, efficient and responsible financial solutions. Moreover, the transparency and flexibility offered by this product makes it simple, easy and convenient to, effectively address the dynamic credit needs of a diverse customer base.

Ujjivan offers a secured Gold Loan product which is a short- to medium-term credit solution offered against gold ornaments and coins. Designed to meet urgent liquidity needs, the product is characterised by flexible repayment terms, competitive interest rates, minimal documentation and expedited disbursal, making it high-yielding and operationally efficient. The addressable customer segment spans individuals, aged between 18 to 75 years, including salaried professionals, self-employed individuals, housewives and small business owners, many of whom may lack traditional income proof, but hold eligible gold assets.

To accelerate growth in this segment, we adopt customer-centric strategies, including simplified onboarding, targeted marketing, dynamic pricing models and enhanced digital platforms. The segment plays a crucial role in promoting financial inclusion by providing low-income groups and under-served communities with viable lending alternatives to informal credit channels.
