“Airtel Payments Bank and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank collaborated a year back to enable Ujjivan’s customers to pay their loan EMI at Banking Points of Airtel Payments Bank. Under this partnership, even collection agents of Ujjivan can also deposit their daily collections at the neighbourhood banking points. As the volume of deposits increased, we decided it was crucial to automate the complete process, including payment posting and data sharing. Tech teams of both the Banks joined hands to automate the collection process and started working towards API integration.
